Clearly JANET isn't the tart I was lead to believe........

We looked at this.... in Frog 3.... we had a form that covered copyright, copies, what they wanted and everything a this allows you to attach a file which is placed in a folder!! But yep they had to log onto Frog to open the page!! What about making sticking the File Drop widget on a page which you leave open to the public... you could create a shortcut on the resources department desktop and they wouldn't need to log in??? Sorry not 100% with it... hope it makes sense!!

Afternoon guys... Not sure how many of you have a security conscious managed service.... but after the weekends shenanigans... we've lost access to network drives on Frog!! Turns out our managed service have turned off SMB1 so make things more secure.... so Frog have to address this issue!! Lets just say im non to impressed!! I mean its not like the kids might find it useful to have access to shared resources, there own network space.... I mean its not like its EXAM SEASON!!!!!!!!! Anyway Frog say they are looking into it........................... lets hope its not a long look in a very deep pond!!

Maybe it'll be in the Austin release..... Poor Dickens.... its was talked about for well over a year.... and its going to be replaced within weeks of its release......

Yep Frog 3 was 11 years in the making... lots more features that haven't yet been recreated in its younger brother Froglearn!!

This is dead easy to do in Frog 3... there is a ticky box which says... Email results to Submitter!! So not only can the form results be sent to a specific user... the person filling it in gets there own copy!! We use this for CPD records etc!! Sorry may not be helpful to you right now... but FrogLearn could learn a thing or two from Frog 3!!

Were a Frog 3/FrogLearn school and the office thing worked for us ish!! It didn't work with out a tweek of the url but that's an us thing not a Frog thing!!!

Well when ive added it to the package manager... I get the Office 365 installer..... again!!

Like Graham said... I'm currently working on recreating in Froglearn workspaces from Frog 3!!! Not sure if you use them but we do heavely here!! You would land on a Forum page... Next we have a resources page... this page means you can share resources with a specific group. I've also set up an individual student page... on this page I've put on a network files brick on for staff and one for the student. This means if I open the page I see our version of the kids network space and when the kids open the page they see there network space!!! I've also put a shared folder for specific feedback to them. Its all a work in progress.... there are a few things that don't work yet... like there's no way to hide other students pages from a specific kid!!! Also the setup is a pain in the backside!!

@S Marcham being part of a managed service can be helpful..... but its few and far between!!

@S Marcham Morning I have to admit I didn't have to much to do with it!! Our managed service already deal with JANET (the tart that she is) so they did all the buying!! I think how it works is you buy credits and use them to get your certificates... so where you saw for 1 for £35 that's a credit... not sure where the length of term comes in!! Yep id assume we have a Organisation validated (OV): Medium assurance this would have let us add SANs so we can have multiple domains on the one certificate... Currently we have three domains on this certificate!!! I wouldn't see an issue in you using the same certificate across your Trust... which to me would be a massive saving to what you currently are paying!! As for the T&C's our managed service are mad over the top with security and regularly throw around the comment "£100,000 fines for breach of data"... so if they have signed it got to secure!!! But I wouldn't take just my word for it... id look more into it!!!

I take it these are iOS updates only??? And yes I can now post on a timeline!!!
