I may be being a bit slow on the uptake.... but cant you already do that?? Create a site... with your lesson content on.... include your quizzes etc... and then assign the site??? Or am I missing something?

We're almost there with Workspaces... just waiting on a delete site button @Graham Quince @Edd @Chris.Smith....... well and the ability to hide pages by individual... and auto created a shared folder........................... But apart from that...........

OK.... Yep sound like a plan... use a Department Based Site... so everyone in the department can see what's going off (HOD)... but the Head has access to them all on a central menu!! To me sounds like what I've been working on.... recreating Frog 3 Workspaces in Froglearn!!!!

On first glance....... You cant hide/show a page based on an individual person!!!

Well you know our issues..... Forms.... Like @S Marcham we have heavily invested in Frog 3 forms... the way they look and the ability to display and editing entries on Frog as well!! Workspaces... As mentioned else where, the ability to auto create a shared area when created a Workspace(new Site)!! WOULD BE NICE.... Permission... The fact you can drill down and put permissions on a page or folder for an individual person!! Tags... the ability to add data to a user account (MyMaths Passwords) and display that users information on a given page easily There will be more....

Luckily Microsoft have released a patch to close the loophole!! Once we could prove that all machines onsite were patched... our managed serves re enabled the protocol!!

Its probably nothing to do this how frog is set up... but that SIMS has you down as the class teacher... which it should!!

Your extractor should already be importing groups!! Im going out on a limb here and saying if it worked in Frog 3... as in you were shown your own classes when you went to my set work... then it should work in Froglearn??? What MIS do you use?

@Graham Quince you might be able to talk that geeky programming language stuff... but you need to brush up on your non geeky talk!!

I get it.... So for MIS imported groups they should automatically auto populate onto the list... but if you want to create other groups you have to set yourself to be the leader for them to auto populate onto your list!!

We have a similar issue at the moment!! For BTEC work we have to give students feedback on an official form... which they need to act on and then resubmit work for a second time. At present we use Frog 3 workspaces which , because Frog 3 allows you to put permissions on folders., we set a folder for each student so only them and us and see the feedback!! Also because this is a Frog 3 workspace we can use Froglive.... we just double click on the file.. Froglive kicks in... downloads it... opens word... we change what we want hit save and Froglive kicks in replacing the file on Frog!! Not sure what we are going to do when we are forced to turn off Frog 3!!

If you haven't already used Frogweb.... You need to access your server via my computer... I have a drive mapped.... internel ip address followed by frogweb such as.... 168.0.0.00\frogweb You will need the username/password... On frog tool kit... in Server Configuration... you'll find the frogweb reset if you don't know what the password is!!

Yeah I know... but thought you were turning it off soon.....

From what I know you would have to host it externally and then link to it.... now with Frog 3 you had an area on the server called Frogweb which you could host pages........................................................

Im going to go for Land... if its world Frog are paying him too much!!
