We have Oliver here which offers VLE integration however this is only with Frog3 and not FrogLearn.

Hi all Our Deputy Head would like an area on Frog where he can post useful links relating to Education, CPD, Teacher Training etc. almost like a blog/rss feed type thing. Does anyone have any ideas how I can set this up, easily, rather than just having a forum? Thanks Tom

Hi @C Wilson We have the same issue and I raised a ticket with the service desk. They have confirmed this is a bug whereby assignments set with an issue date in the future are appearing and they are being notified about. This is a huge issue for us as we are using Frog for all homework now and students are sometimes completing assignments/getting anxious about not understanding the homework, before the teacher has actually taught them the lesson! We have the exact same issue. I think if their accounts are AD linked then there isn't a way around it, that I'm aware of. What is the password policy on your system? How often are they forced to change their passwords? When school holidays are looming, we send out emails/notices asking staff and students to change their passwords, to stop this happening, but they don't always do!

I was going to raise the same thing as we've recently launched to parents and the majority of the complaints/queries we've had is that it appears their children haven't 'completed' their homework when they actually have. Obviously, as you say, it requires the child to press the 'Complete Assignment' but they don't!

I was going to ask this too as a few staff have been to see me in the last few days. Not sure if I'm just being stupid but I can't see where to change it to a mark? When I got to set an assignment, I can only see percentage and the checkbox is greyed out so I can't un-tick it. Am I missing something obvious?

Our Maths dept. use Frog for flipped learning. They have a 'Maths Videos' site which contains lots of videos our Head of Maths has created and uploaded onto YouTube, showing students how to do certain things. These are then organised alphabetically on the site, with lots of different practice exam questions etc.

We're planning on launching parental access to Frog next week (eek!). This academic year we have got rid of school planners and are setting all homework on Frog and therefore felt it was rather fitting that parents should be able to access Frog to see what homework their child is being set. The plan is for them to have very limited access (literally just a homepage, no person dash/timeline, no access to site drive etc.) and will just be able to see a few key documents, links to a couple of websites and our social media, some PSHE information and a 'My Child's Work' button. I'm keen to know how other schools have gone about parental access, what they can access/what they can't access etc. but most of all would like to know how you've gone about physically giving parents their logins. Any ideas/advice greatly received! Tom
