Adding files to a form

Not sure if this is possible in Frog but worth a shot!

We have just started using the frog template for the printing requests - Our resources department are happy with their form and the email notification they get with the job details listed however they then have to go into Frog to to the page to get to the file drop to view the related file. Is there a way (in or out of Frog) where a form can be created, displayed through Frog, staff to complete fields, add a file and then the results and file be sent to our resources manager. It would need to be something which can be easily managed and bonus if it can be done in Frog.

The other option we considered was having a direct link to the Frog page in the form so when the email saying form submitted was sent to the resource manager he can click this to get back to the file drop, however he would still need to log in (as many support staff do not use frog daily unless they need to)

We looked at this....  in Frog 3....  we had a form that covered copyright, copies, what they wanted and everything  a this allows you to attach a file which is placed in a folder!!  But yep they had to log onto Frog to open the page!!

What about making sticking the File Drop widget on a page which you leave open to the public...  you could create a shortcut on the resources department desktop and they wouldn't need to log in???

Sorry not 100% with it...  hope it makes sense!!

yes that makes sense - I am not with it either I have just realised I posted this in T&L!

I may do that if there isn't a file option, this would cut down a couple of steps/clicks for them which was the point in this.

Thanks

@Corinne Hmmm you could remove the File drop and add a Network Files widget pointing to a location where staff can access and create folders. That way on the same page as the form you can say "Create a folder here with the name of your project/request and upload any associated files" (or other criteria to distinguish it from other requests). This way the user getting the form results emailed can then just click on the school network share without having to necessarily log onto frog. Could be an option :)
