  1. Service desk say we have the latest version installed, but still showing the students ears and one eye.....

Given this is free and written by a none-Frog employee it feels very churlish to be complaining. But it's such a useful tool, I would like it working as we are new and it is something that staff can see is a great feature.

There seems to be another issue. The student in the most top-left seat can't be drag and dropped to another chair. I've tried altering the room layout to see if was just a single grid position, but that just moved the problem.

Cheers for all your hard work.

  2. That's fine, but it retains the focus, so you can't do anything behind it, in or out of Frog.

If it's not possible then no worries. I just thought it would be a nice feature.

    Thanks for the reply

  3. Is there any way of getting a page with the randomiser widget to float on top of other windows.

So staff might be showing something on the web and want to use the randomiser to select contibutors, It would be nice if it could be floting above any other windows so it is readily available.

  4. Is there a way of re-sizing the display of Imager Slider/Image Carousel. They work great, but chop off the top and bottom of images originally A4 in portrait orientation. (I'm trying to show some posters on the student/staff dashboards).

  5. Yes, I've done that. But I'm trying to keep things as simple as possible. So just having the form dataviewer showing on the Ipad as the duty staff walked round the site would seem to be the easiest. However, because it doesn't stay "live" on an Ipad, like on a PC, then it necessitates the duty person to keep refreshing it.

Unless someone knows how to embed a "live" outlook mailbox in a frog page that will work on an IPad/Android device.

  6. This is awesome. Thank you for sharing.

I have a little issue with it. It picks out the students who are pp. but also puts a placeholder for the rest of the students I teach. here's a snapshot

The 2 with red name bars are PP. the rest aren't  (we aren't pulling photos in yet. We're still setting up.)

Is this to do with some system setting? Or maybe our MIS link?

  7. Yes. We have an "On-Call" rota. I am trying to get away from a paper based system, that requires someone to enter the details manually and keep logs etc.

Creating a form works perfectly, I've created an account called On-Call which the device will be permanently logged onto and handed over to the next person on the rota.

It works well except for the fact that the screen doesn't stay up to date, and if the on-call updates the record to say what they've done with the student, then the data viewer just stays blank. They have to come out of the form, then back in to get the display working again.

Is there any chance the notification can create an audible "ping"?

  8. A couple of questions about The data viewer widget. Attached to a form.

Can it auto refresh at a set time interval? I want to use a live form on our "on-Call" system. If a teacher needs support in a classroom they open and fill in a simple form. The support member of staff has a device (IPad or similar) while they are on duty.. They keep an eye on the data viewer and when a new student is added via the form (maybe enable a ping?) they respond, go to the classroom, deal with student and update the record.

Currently they then have to close the site and re-open it to see the data again. Which is doable, but irritating.

  9. Our SENCO does student reviews, normally once a year, but may be more often. She sends out a standard questionnaire to their subject teachers, who fill it out and send back. The SENCO then collates the info and saves them in a folder. She needs to be able to track which ones have been sent back and chase late returns. This is all done with emails and word attachments.

I think we could use eportfolios for this task? so staff just fill out an online form with the responses automatically filed against the student. Quicker and simpler for all involved and simple to track.

But not sure how to start?
