wmv Video not playing

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere.

I've having troubles playing a wmv file within a media widget on a froglearn site.

The file uploaded to the widget fine, and when I click play, it seems to load/buffer, but then doesn't play when clicked. It does nothings (screenshot below).

Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Check the size of the file.  Frog will play larger files sometimes.

Hi @MrM,

Unfortunately most current web browsers don't play WMV.  I know Chrome certainly doesn't.  If you let me know the name of the site, i'll take a look, but you might need to convert it.

There's a tutorial on the Community which covers several free tools for conversion and even how to use Google or OneDrive to host it for you.
