Marcus Goluch
Hi Guys, So I am working on a widget that requires some background functionality server side. I need to package a php file with my widget. Is this something I am able to do?
sclough
I've used PHP in some of the widgets I've created but always hosted the PHP files on our website server. Then I've used Ajax within the widget code to connect to the PHP files to send and return data. I'm not sure you can include PHP in the actual widget itself though.
Graham Quince
Hi @Chris Goluch, Ideas Portal is perfect to capture this suggestion. Once you've added the idea, post the link back here and get everyone to vote it up. https://www.frogcommunity.com/ideas-portal Graham
Marcus Goluch
I have tried to do this, but I can not figure out how to post something. I tried to log in using the frog icon at the bottom but I ended up registering with some theater website. Can you assist with this?
Graham Quince
hmm, looks like the sign up form has disappeared. You should be able to create an account here instead: https://frogeducation.ideas.aha.io/auth/redirect_to_auth

Graham Quince
Hi Chris Really sorry that’s happening. I’ve been wall-to-wall Bett this week, but I’ll flag this up. Graham
pconkie
I think you can build your widget completely outside frog using whatever languages you want. To integrate it once completed you will need search on here about oAuth
