THaines
We'd like to trial parents accessing their child's report via Frog but only want to do this with a couple of classes. What would you suggest is the best way to achieve this? Obviously parents aren't organised into 'classes' like their children are so I'm guessing it'd be a manual job of creating a group, adding the parents individually and then creating a tab on the parent dashboard that only these users can access? Has anyone else had success with reports going home via Frog? At the moment, it seems to pull in all 'General Documents' linked to the child in SIMS - does anyone know if it's possible to create a new category in SIMS called 'Reports' and when reports are uploaded, they could be uploaded as a 'Report' rather than a 'General Document'? It'd make things so much easier if this is possible as it would mean only reports are pulled into Frog and nothing else like behavior incidents, SEN reports etc. which we don't necessarily want. Graham Quince
Hi @THaines, The SIMS Linked documents can be configured to do this. The service desk can talk you through how to set it up. Graham
THaines
Thanks @Graham Quince. I've spoken to our SIMS Manager and she tells me it's not possible to add additional document types - apparently she has tried in the past.

THaines
@Graham Quince Can we have a look at this please? Sorry, the summer was a bit mental and I'm only just getting round to catching up with things since the beginning of term...
Graham Quince
Hi Tom, I'm sorry, i'm out of the office today - the service desk should be able to talk you through this (I'd be putting you through to them anyway )

gbligh
Hi all, Just re-visiting this - has anyone managed to find a way of knowing which parents have downloaded the reports or viewed the page? We can see who has logged in but can't see who has looked at the reports.

We thought of that. It's probably worth doing however a parent could just tick it and not read it. It would be nice if we had a form for them to submit which then displays the report, however I don't think that's possible!
gbligh
Hi all, Just bumping this one up a bit - would it be possible to add a link to a site inside the green confirmation box on a form? I'm just thinking, if a parent fills out the form, the green box would appear with a link in it to a site with the reports on? @adamw @Graham Quince
