  3. Jay's post in Messaging was marked as the answer
    Hi @pdurber
    The Messages application is only turned ON for admins in Frog by default, which I have created a help section for this application on our Knowledgebase which is currently being reviewed and will be published shortly.
    In order to turn this feature ON by profile / group you would need to login to Frog as an Admin > Open the Groups and Policies application > search for the profile for example "Staff" > select the profile / group > Click the "Edit" button > Make sure you are on the Policy tab > On the right click "Apps" > Click "Messages" > You can then add the relevant roles for the Messages application by click the "+" buttons > Turn "ON" the roles on the left menu > Click the "Save" button.
    Please see screenshot attached of these roles in Groups and Policies required to use the Messaging application in Frog.
    If you require any further assistance or have any other questions please let me know
    Many Thanks
    Jay

  5. Jay's post in Select Date Widget was marked as the answer
    Hi @pdurber
    The Select Date widget will not facilitate this functionality in Frog, however you could potentially try using the HTML widget on the site and enter custom code into the widget in order to facilitate this in Frog.
    @Graham Quince Are you able to assist with this one?
    If you have any issues or questions please let me know
    Thanks
    Jay
  6. Jay's post in Duplicating Sites was marked as the answer
    Hi @ADT
    Happy New Year
    When you duplicate a site it will only duplicate the widgets and pages on the site and if you have set a background image or have a media widget that has an image on this will also be copied across, however this will not copy any files or uploads that have been uploaded to any File Drop or Timeline widget's of the original site and these will need to be uploaded manually to your duplicated site.
    If you have any further questions or issues please let me know
    Thanks
    Jay

  11. Jay's post in Big problem! Parents removing linked documents was marked as the answer
    Hi @pconkie
    Our Development Team are aware of this issue and are currently investigating this further, In the meantime I will create you a Support ticket and keep you updated with any progress regarding this particular issue.
    In regards to hiding the "Cog" icon I could suggest removing the "MIS Linked Documents" widget all together from the site for the meantime as a workaround whilst our Development Team investigate the issue.
    In regards to the coding question I would suggest posting that in our Coding section of our Forums which I have provided a link to below;
    Link: https://forum.frogcommunity.com/index.php?/forum/6-coding/
    If you have any issues or questions in the meantime please let me know,

  12. Jay's post in Pinboard was marked as the answer
    Hi @ADT
    You can manage these by opening the "Discover" application in Frog, once opened search for anything for example "football" > on the left select the blue "Pinboard" button and then click the "Edit" option to manage your pinned items.
    I have also provided a link below which shows a video guide on managing your pinned items in Frog;
    Link: https://www.frogeducation.com/community/training/homelearning/teachersandstaff/pinboard
    If you have any issues or questions please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Jay
  13. Jay's post in Network Folders List View was marked as the answer
    @DUNCAN LEWIS there is not an option in Frog yet to set this as a default view, however there is a button within the widget and Frogdrive to change this to "List View".
    Thanks,
    Jay
  14. Jay's post in Display Data Widget was marked as the answer
    Hi @pdurber
    We don't have a function to be able to auto refresh the data-viewer yet, however the "Forms" in Frog allow you to enter an email address in the settings of the widget. Once you have entered an email address when a user fills out and submits the form an email will automatically be sent over including the details of the submission.
    I hope this helps, however if you have any issues or questions please let me know,
    Thanks,
    Jay

  16. Jay's post in Mark Schemes Manager was marked as the answer
    @ADT There is not currently an option to be able to select multiple mark schemes and turn them "On" or "Off", as you would need to open them and turn them "On" individually. Maybe one for @Matt or @Graham Quince if they have any information on the future plans for "Mark Scheme Manager", however in the meantime I would suggest posting this idea on our Frog Idea's portal which I have provided a link to below;
    Link: https://ideas.frogcommunity.com/portal_session/new
    If you have any issues please let me know,
    Many Thanks,

    I am in the process of uploading this site to the Frogstore in order for other school's to use the site within Frog.

    You can access the data entered within the "Markbook" application > select the "Assignments" page > select the assignment that has the form included > select the student you wish to view results for > select the Green "0" or "1" icon like the attached image > select "Preview Assignment" > in the top left click "Assignment" > then click "Data Viewer" > here you can view results or download to CSV using the cog icon.

  20. Jay's post in Frog Parent - MIS documents was marked as the answer
    @nward Hi Natalie,
    There is not currently works to change the extraction of MIS linked documents in the Frog extractor, however you can filter these by "Year" and "Document Type" and you can leave the extractor to run this process and it will close automatically once complete. I have provide a link below to the Frog Extractor guide if you scroll down the guide under the heading "Importing MIS Documents into your FrogLearn Platform" it explains this process in further detail.
    Link: https://support.frogeducation.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/froglearn---sims-extractor-configuration
    If you have any issues please let me know,
    Many Thanks,
    Jay
  21. Jay's post in The New TImetable Widget was marked as the answer
    @ADT I will create a support ticket for you as this does seem to be a bug bespoke to the widget itself as I have checked your Frog server time and it is correct and in sync.
    Leave this with me and I will raise it to our Development Team to investigate this further.
    Thanks,
    Jay
  22. Jay's post in Page picker widget preference was marked as the answer
    Hi @pconkie
    I have created you support ticket for this issue and responded to you separately on there. I have also investigate this issue which I can confirm that this has now been referred onto our Development Team to investigate this further as the issue itself looks to be bespoke to the "Nested Page" widget. The expected functionality would be for the user to be able to select a page from the site and as you say in technical terms it should "ignore" the "presentation mode" when using the widget. I will update you on your support ticket as soon as I receive any updates from our Development Team.
    If you have any issues in the meantime please let me know,
    Many Thanks,
    Jay

  23. Jay's post in Can not close assignments was marked as the answer
    That's right @ADT it is a bug which I will create you a ticket @pconkie and update you as soon as possible regarding the expected fix for this issue.
  24. Jay's post in Form User Picker - restrict to only select students. was marked as the answer
    Good Morning @turtes
    Currently there is not an option in Frog to turn this "Off" within Forms. However, if you are not wanting students to be able to view staff when using the Forms widget I would suggest using a different field for the user to enter these manually instead of the "User Picker" field.
    In the meantime, I think you have a great idea for Forms which we could look at possibly implementing this feature into Frog which I would suggest posting this on our Idea's portal (Link below) which our Development Team regularly review these and look at implementing the ideas with the most votes in future releases of Frog.

    If you have any issues please let me know.
    Many Thanks,
    Jay
  25. Jay's post in Cookie notification on public sites broken? was marked as the answer
    @pconkie
    I have investigated this and found that Frog uses mostly "Sessions" to store data when viewing public sites on Frog which is stored on the server and not directly on the users browser which is more secure than using cookies.
    This may have been changed recently by Frog in order for us to comply with the new GDPR Laws/rules and regulations. However, as this is a request for change I would suggest posting this on our Idea's portal as our Development Team regularly review the posts and look to implement the ideas with the most votes, and I have provided a link to the portal below;
    link: https://ideas.frogcommunity.com/portal_session/new
    Kind Regards,
    Jay
