  1. Do you have a contact for Oliver (or any of the others)? I'm happy to pass on and see if we can work with them
  2. If you're a Frog3-FrogLearn school, you'll have to wait for Austen as there is a fix in that update you need. If you're FrogLearn only, you'll need to enable Package Manager via Groups and Policies, then follow the tutorial on the Frogcode community site
  3. @pconkie has prompted some conversations here and one of our amazing devs spent his lunch hour creating this: Right now, it's a service desk tool and completely untested, but... with a fair wind and proper QA, we might get this ready for September.
  4. Paul's widget is now on the community site https://www.frogcommunity.com/frogcode/showcase
  5. What about sending an image to the student via FrogDrive? It would appear on their timeline and their parents can see it: Or have a message on the students dashboard only visible to students in the Overdue group. Any overdue students could be added to the group and removed from it when they return the library. Your librarian can manage groups using the Groups and Policies app (the policies will be locked out for her)
  6. Hi Paul I've got your widget, but while preparing a video to demonstrate it, I spotted one thing that might cause issues for users. When a file is linked to, the link opens in the existing window, so if I upload a PDF or image, I leave Frog. Is there any chance you could add a target="_blank" to the link? Works fine for word docs though.
  7. Hi Paul Right now, i can extract any widgets anyone would like and then host them on the community. Thank you again for your generosity. Everyone else - I'll get this widget off Paul's Frog next week.
  8. Hi @THaines I have a meeting on Monday to discuss building a tool to help with this sort of thing. When I'm allowed to tell you more, i'll post here. We'd be looking at getting this ready for September - if that helps
  9. Hi @S Marcham Have you seen the updated calendar widget which has a week view as well as an agenda view and the new create event widget which replicates Frog3's booking form? https://www.frogcommunity.com/create-event
  10. Ah, so the original wall widget would work in that scenario. You just need a method of duplicating pages for students. I think it's best if I give you a call and we can talk through the options. Are you free Friday?
  11. Hi Tom, If you create a site, but leave it as private, then create a group who have viewing access, any parent who pays can be added to the group (teachers can add to groups as well as admins with Groups & Policies and you could even give this student access - via a group). A site link with a Rule on it to display to that group on the parent dashboard and sending out a direct link should make it easy to find. Hope that helps Graham
  12. Done! You can download this from the showcase page: https://www.frogcommunity.com/frogcode/showcase Nice one @Chris.Smith @Corinne - would you be able to get your teacher to do me a short video about how they're using the widget, once they get it installed and assigned please?
  13. If it helps, the comments box is returned in the markbook.getUserInfo API. Looks like it needs the assignment UUID and the student's UUID params : {method: "markbook.getUserInfo", _v: "1701_0_24",…} assignment:"681C00DE20003C312B36BFAEEEB38F079BDA804CC7DF8199", method:"markbook.getUserInfo", sources:["native", "googledrive"], user:"F0BEFDE2200053C84B127FDA599918024F6FF87CA7A2AD9C"
  14. Mick Walker has produced an update for us on the Primary Assessment consultations currently open in England until 22 June. This is available to download from the Life After Levels website: https://www.lifeafterlevels.com/news/primary-assessment-consultation
  15. Holy cow! That's sounds amazing. Yes, please share Paul.
  16. Hi John, I don't think there's a single tutorial covering this, but it is possible to build up a couple of API calls to achieve what you're after. i'll add this to my list of widgets to build. If someone else wants to jump in before me, please feel free
  17. This video was brought to my attention recently. James Pembroke was speaking at an event we sponsored (hence the banner in the background). We weren't involved with James directly and his presentation isn't about FrogProgress, but it makes interesting and informative viewing:
  18. Fair point. I've started another thread here asking for all the blockers preventing you from turning off Frog3. I know @clangstaff and I have talked before, but I'm hoping to capture all the issues on the thread, which I can take to our developers.
  19. OK, the title is probably a bit too ambitious, but internal discussions have been happening (again) around what's stopping schools switching over to FrogLearn and turning off Frog3. The ones I know about from my own experiences are: Forms - their flexibility of layout, input type and editing options Web Files - being able to use these for parents and non-logged in users What are the other things preventing you from transition.
  20. Hi @deanmoulder, My first thought was that you could use Class Goals in each progression chart as a way of recording how your students are doing with these generic skills. They won't show up in reports. However, each teacher would have to set these goals up for each Progression Chart they use. This could become a bit tiresome. I've spoken to Progress' product manager, Ramsey Al-Chalaby, and he's suggested it might be much easier to use a second Progression Chart for each class - one set to track their therapy progress. Teachers would have to switch between two charts each lesson, but your therapy team would retain the ability to run reports, determine interventions etc... There will be more work to set up a new curriculum to cover these areas, but once done, the day-to-day work should be minimal. Hope that helps Graham
  21. Pants! Sorry folks. We've done a bit more digging. Looks like for now (for Austen) this is only for FrogLearn schools. A couple of assumptions were made in earlier posts - I thought it was connected to the MIS, but it turns out that's wrong. Really sorry to disappoint everyone on Frog3/FrogLearn.
  22. Could this be something you build? I think you still have access to the beta?
  23. Hi @mmclaughlin, Not sure what you mean, sorry. If you create your own groups, as long as you add yourself and set your account to be the leader of the group, they will show up in the class list. If your MIS creates the groups, it's important to have the extractor configured correctly to ensure the teachers of the classes are identified as such and imported into Frog.
  24. Hi Paul In order to be able to add a notice to a noticeboard, your staff will need edit and manage rights to the site. If you increase the permissions to the notices site to edit and manage, it should work for you. Apologies if you've tried this already. Graham
  25. Hi Paul, Oh that's annoying. I've checked in the back-end settings and staff do have access to the API. Can you DM or email me a staff account which is working and one which isn't and I'll do some more digging. Graham
